The RASCI matrix is a tool used by organizations to clarify roles and responsibilities within a team or project. The acronym RASCI stands for Responsible, Accountable, Support, Consult, and Inform. The matrix is a grid that lists each task or activity, along with the names of the individuals who are responsible, accountable, etc. for that activity.

  1. Responsible: This is the individual who is responsible for completing the task or activity.
  2. Accountable: This is the individual who is ultimately accountable for the successful completion of the task or activity.
  3. Support: This is the individual or team who provides support to the person responsible for the task or activity.
  4. Consult: This is the individual or team who provides advice and expertise to the person responsible for the task or activity.
  5. Inform: This is the individual or team who is informed about the progress and status of the task or activity.
